IMPORTANT INFO - IF YOU HAVE FOUND A PET! If you have found a pet, only give out a very general description in your ads or on your flyers. Never use a photo! Never give any specific details. Only reveal the type of pet and the location where it was found. Many times people who abuse animals, run illegal dog fights, or sell animals to research facilities respond to "found" ads to get their victims. Always make someone repsonding to your ad thoroughly identify the pet. IMPORTANT INFO - IF YOU ARE GIVING AWAY A PET! Never give an animal away for free! You should always charge at least $25. Why? Because there are many people who go around collecting free cats, kittens and dogs and then sell them to research labs. They usually get about $20 dollars a piece. Also, there are people involved in dog fighting that will use cats, kittens, and dogs to "train" pitbulls for dogfighting. As always, you can send your lost and found info to us and we will gladly post it on our web site. Lost Ads should include a clear photo. Please give all pertinent details. Also, "Found" classified ads are free in the Cincinnati Enquirer, call 421-6300. Call the same number to place a lost advertisement.
