Help Change Ohio's Animal Welfare Laws!

Dear Fellow Animal Lovers,

Many people believe that animal abuse is considered a serious criminal offense. The Criminal Code of Ohio should be strengthened so the penalty fits the crime. It is time to stand up for animal welfare in Ohio.

Ohio has the worst animal welfare laws in the nation. This bill seeks to address this deficiency by strengthening the penalties for abuse and neglect. We must send a message to would-be animal abusers that Ohio will not tolerate these abuses.
