About Us

The O'Bryonville Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer run organization. We promote non-lethal control for feral cat colonies and humane methods to reduce the population of feral cats.

In addition, we work to socialize those cats and kittens and place them in well screened homes.

O.A.R. has made a difference in the lives of over 1100 abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens by placing them in loving homes. We feed and care for countless others living in colonies throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

O’Bryonville Animal Rescue Programs:

  1. Trapping and monitoring of feral colonies. O.A.R. is involved in a trap-neuter-return program to control the population of feral cats in the Greater Cincinnati area.
  2. Daily care of cats. O.A.R. works to rehabilitate cats and kittens from such colonies that can be socialized for placement in well-screened homes.
  3. Foster care of cats and kittens. O.A.R. works with a group of volunteers that offer to foster pregnant females, newborn kittens, and cats that are too frightened or have limited, if any, experience with humans.
  4. Interaction with the public. The purpose of such interaction is to provide information in the management of feral cat colonies, assistance in trapping feral cats, and information on responsible pet ownership.
  5. Promotional activities. O.A.R. has participated with other local groups in the organization of seminars on feral cat care. O.A.R. has also organized activities to promote interest in adoption and provide information about management of feral cat colonies.
